Just got back from Pico Day NJ 2024. There's something I really wanna share with everyone.

Sometimes I go to ska-punk concerts, and I wanna say "these are my people," whenever I do. But it always feels off, (mostly due to many extreme opinions held by the attendees).

Tonight was different. I felt pretty in my shell a lot of the time, but honestly, you guys—Newgrounds—you are my people. We don't all think the same thing, and that's what makes us so special and diverse—and we get that. I want to be much more active on the site, even though my teaching job takes up a lot of my time. Whether it's writing or (reaching here) getting better at drawing, I wanna do more. Thank you all.

Just wanted to wish @TomFulp a very happy birthday! Thanks for making such an AWESOME site, and I hope you have (or had, since it's night now) a great one!

I was wondering if past essays from college would help in a portfolio for examples of my writing. If you're looking for a writer here on NG, would you count those in your decision-making process?
